Story Overview
The journey of Taiga Tree Service began back in 2001 when Dan Riehl wanted to build a profitable business that gave him control over his own time. Dan recognized the need in the high demand industry for commercial and residential tree service. Starting from ground zero Dan launched his first tree company in Arizona in 2001. Later Dan opened his second company Complete Tree Service in 2010 turning it into one of the most respectable tree companies in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Now 20 years later, Dan and Michelle Riehl are the founders of Taiga Tree Service Franchise.
How We Got Here
Originally, Taiga had a humble beginning just like any other small business. We were motivated by our big business dreams, but knew that meant taking the right steps one at a time. In the early days, this looked like individually hanging door flyers on every door in every neighborhood to the present day we are now one of only a few tree companies to franchise in the nation. With our years of business experience in the tree industry we have been able to craft a scaleable business model covering the ins and outs of starting a profitable tree service company. Still motivated by our big dreams, we step forward with the goal of making local impacts nationwide.
